Neurodiagnostic Technologist, Registered

High school diploma or its equivalent is required.

Working knowledge of neuroanatomy, physiology, basic electronics and electrical safety, general knowledge of electroencephalography (EEG) and evoked potentials (EP) instrumentation, pattern recognition, and various medical and pharmacological conditions is required.

Completion of department approved training program is required.

Required credentials of one or more of the followings: Registered Electroencephalographic Technologist (REEGT), Registered Evoked Potentials Technologist (REPT), Certified Nerve Conduction Technologist (CNCT), or Registered Nerve Conduction Study Technologists (R.NCS.T).

An accepted offer will require a drug screen

Pre-employment background screening as a condition of employment.

Graduated from an approved program of Electroneurodiagnostic Technology (ENDT) or similar education is preferred.

Experience in area of specialty or applicable health care experience is preferred.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within six weeks of employment and re-certification as necessary is required.
