Demonstrated expertise using precision hand tools, including micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, and depth gauges.

Strong competency in shop math, including trigonometry and decimals, to calculate offsets and speeds/feeds.

Ability to stand for the duration of a shift (8+ hours) and safely lift/move materials up to 40 lbs.

Hands-on experience with GibbsCAM or similar CAM software for program tweaks or full setups.

Experience operating or programming CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machines).

Advanced understanding of specialized work-holding fixtures and custom tool geometry.

Completion of a vocational program, NIMS certification, or a formal Machinist Apprenticeship.
