Two-year certification from college or trade school **and** four years applicable experience in a machine shop environment, **or** eight years' experience in a machine shop environment
Must understand and apply advanced machining knowledge
Machining tolerances and measuring equipment, tooling selection, machine setup and operations
Common machining symbols on MTS prints
Understanding of material characteristics and proper machining techniques
Ability to edit CNC G-Code and M-Code through conversational software and CAD/CAM software for CNC operators or ability to run multiple manual machines
Ability to manage multiple machine offsets and tool offsets for CNC operators
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Willingness to work overtime
