3+ years of experience (without degree) in Quality Control for fabricated metal components, cable assemblies, or related hardware.

Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical work specifications.

Hands-on experience with inspection processes such as First Article Inspections (FAI), CoCs, and sampling inspections (MIL-STD-1916 or similar standards).

Familiarity with common quality standards such as ISO 9001, MIL-STD specifications, and related processes.

Knowledge of tools and equipment used in inspections, such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.

Understanding of fabricated metals, including welding, machining, and assembly practices.

Experience working with cable assemblies and associated hardware in quality or manufacturing environments.

Must be a US Citizen

The ability to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance.

Experience in Government or DoD quality systems or contracts.

Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma principles for continuous improvement initiatives.

Additional certifications in Quality Control or Quality Assurance (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Inspector).

2-4 years of experience in structural steel fitting, metal fabrication, or a related field.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings.

Knowledge of structural fitting techniques, welding preparation, and metal layout.

Relevant industry certifications as required by employer or project specifications.
