High School Diploma or equivalency (G.E.D.)

2+ years of experience in a manufacturing role.

Strong mechanical aptitude is a must.

Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and other technical documents.

Experience with precision measuring tools and instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.

Basic to intermediate proficiency with ERP systems (Oracle preferred) and Microsoft Excel for data entry, tracking, and reporting.

2 years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment.

Knowledge of and prior experience with Fisher products, manufacturing processes and organization preferred.

Experience with CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) is a plus.

Knowledge of analyzing, evaluating, diagnosing, and resolving equipment and process related problems is strongly preferred.

Demonstrated ability to quickly learn proprietary systems.

$15.10 - $18.89 - $22.69 per hour

$16.59 - $20.72 - $24.86 per hour

$18.17 - $22.74 - $27.31 per hour

Monthly performance incentive based on inspection volume. Inspectors who achieve target production levels can earn approximately $750 per month, while top performers can earn $1,000+ per month.

Guaranteed incentive during the first three full months

Month of Hire: Prorated guarantee up to $750

First Full Month: Guaranteed $750

Second Full Month: Guaranteed $500

Third Full Month: Guaranteed $500

Reimbursement provided for business use of a personal vehicle

USD 15.10 - 22.69 per hour

Hourly pay rate is in the range of $15.10 - $22.69/hour.

Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.

Employees are eligible to receive a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year.

Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, and parental leave.

Medium / Heavy Duty truck technical training 2-year school and 4 years of experience or 5 years of experience in fleet maintenance and repair

Brake Inspector Certification Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

EPA section 608 (Core & Type II) and 609 HVAC Refrigeration Certification

Working knowledge of computer-based diagnostic software for OEM's and component manufacturers

The technician must provide own and provide all tools (diagnostic equipment and major tools provided by Sysco) necessary to perform all maintenance repair and diagnostics

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear.

The employee is frequently required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend or crawl.

The employee is occasionally required to sit and must frequently lift and/or move up to 100 lbs.

The employee is Repair work requires excellent hand and finger dexterity used for wrenches, hand tools, and other shop equipment.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
