Technical degree or relevant experience in electronics testing.

Able to read electrical schematics, drawings, and manufacturers' product data sheets.

5+ years of experience testing and assembly of electronic boards.

Experience using hand tools and power tools; scopes/probes/frequency generators.

Experience with soldering and circuit board re-work.

Able to move/lift test boxes and instrumentation.

Comfortable using a variety of measurement tools - calipers, micrometers, pin gages, optical comparator

High School diploma or equivalent

3 - 5 years' experience performing inspections to MIL-STD-883, Methods 2010, 2017, 2032 or documents based on these criteria. It is acceptable to have experience using other inspection criteria

Experience using low and high-power microscopes

Hands-on experience with any type of Nonconformance Report system, to create and update Nonconformance Reports. (Agile, Arena, TIPQA, TeamCenter...)

Experience working with cross-functional teams; (Production, Inventory, Engineering, Planning)

Proficiency with standard MS Office software - Outlook (email), Excel, Word

Employment is contingent on background checks and compliance with applicable regulations.

5-7 years of directly related experience or certified to J-STD-001 or IPC-A-610; if not already certified, ability to become IPC-A-610 certified at CIS level

Current or prior security clearance a plus (able to be renewed)

IPC-A-610 and/or J-STD-001 certified inspector

J-STD-001 - Space addendum, (a plus)

Experience with AS9102 FAIR, First Article Inspection Report

$22.00 - $28.00/hour

Minimum high school diploma or equivalent

3-5 years of experience in quality assurance inspection is required

Good computer skills and data entry experience

Technical knowledge of basic inspection tools and equipment like calipers, micrometers, various gauges, and low- and high- powered microscopes, bonding machines, etc.

Proficient in English. Must have basic English communication skills, both written and verbal

Good manual dexterity as will be handling precise small fragile components under a microscope using tweezers and probes

Some physical strength and stamina are required for regular cleaning duties.

Ability to read and understand procedures and work instructions a plus

MIC Hybrid circuit inspection experience or MIC assembly a plus

Knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices and other safety procedures is preferred

Prior experience working for ISO 9000 certified company is preferred
